Before joining the HubPages Team as Community Manager, I was a freelance writer, also certified in Massage, Aromatherapy and Health Education. I have been "writing" since before I could physically write, dictating stories, poems and thoughts to whomever was available to scribble them down, and won numerous competitions growing up.
I have a wry sense of humor and a passion for holistic health, women's issues, and the power of the written word.
